Last December we asked you all which causes you find most important, and… Mental Health, Gender Diversity and Endometriosis came up as the top 3 causes.

So, to honour Women's History Month and International Women's Day, U by Kotex® amplified your voice about the causes closest to your heart. We have split our $50k SheCan Fund between 3 amazing organisations who are working towards these causes. See below to learn more about these great organisations.

Mental Health - LIVIN

LIVIN is all about living your life at the top and breaking the stigma around mental health. Connecting, supporting and encouraging one another to talk about our feelings and challenges because “It Ain’t Weak to Speak”. Through the development of the LIVIN education program, apparel and community awareness initiatives, LIVIN are launching a generational change to promote mental health to combat mental illness. Support LIVIN to help people start LIVIN again.

Reproductive Health - EndoActive

EndoActive’s mission is Awareness, Information and Advocacy for women and girls living with Endometriosis. EndoActive’s aim is to promote early intervention and more informed treatment of Endometriosis, a disease affecting 1 in 10 women – around 600,000 – and costing the Australian economy $7.4 billion annually. Support EndoActive to advocate for those suffering from Endometriosis and raise awareness for this disease!

FAQs are

  1. Am I eligible to apply?
    The U by Kotex #SheCan fund is open to all Australia residents aged 13 and over. Employees of agencies associated with this campaign are ineligible to enter.
  2. How many times can I vote?
    You can only submit 1 vote unless you buy a U by Kotex product from Coles between 01/03/20 – 31/03/20 and send the receipt to us @ubykotexaunz before 11:59pm AEDST 31/03/20 in which case you can double your vote!. (See FAQ 3 below for more info).
  3. How can I double my vote through Coles?
    Go into Coles and purchase any U by Kotex product, snap the Coles specific Snapcode in store (or online on this page above), scan your receipt and send this to @ubykotexaunz to have your vote counted twice! If you have already submitted an original vote (not through the Coles Snapcode), when you scan the Coles Specific Snapcode and send your receipt to @ubykotexaunz, you are able to cast an additional vote for another cause of your choice. But remember, to be valid your receipt must to show a purchase of a U by Kotex product between 01/03/20 to 31/03/20.
  4. How much time is the Snapchat SheCan Fund Lens active for?
    You will be granted a 1 hour access to the SheCan snapchat lens every time you enter through the Snapcode. You can reactivate the lens if you snap the Snapcode again (yet note there are limitations on how many times you can vote – see above FAQ 2 for more info).
  5. How can I check that my vote has been counted?
    Your vote is confirmed after you send a snap/video using one of the three SheCan Fund filters on snapchat and send to @ubykotexaunz. You can keep a close eye on the results through the live tracker which will be updated regularly on this page.
  6. When does voting start and end?
    Voting will be open 01/03/20 – 31/03/20. Voting will close 11:59pm AEDST 31/03/20.
  7. Who selected the 3 causes which are being supported?
    We asked girls in Australia aged 16-30 which causes from our list were most important to them and Mental Health, Gender Diversity and Endometriosis came up as the Top 3. U By Kotex then selected 3 organisations which we thought would benefit from our donation, we wanted to ensure that the organisation would be local and Australian.
  8. How will the $50,000 AUD be split between the 3 organisations?
    The outcome will be completely determined by your vote. The percentage of votes each cause receives will determine the percentage of the fund we donate to each fund. The Votes and percentages will be calculated by Mish Guru Limited NZBN – 9429041293614, 101 Pakenham St W, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand.
  9. Will my application be shown to anyone?
    All snaps and videos sent to @ubykotexaunz may be used by Kimberly-Clark Australia Pty Limited (KCA) for marketing purposes. Your photos and videos may be reviewed and stored by Mish Guru Limited NZBN – 9429041293614 (Mish Guru), 101 Pakenham St W, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand. Both KCA and Mish Guru will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  10. Is there anything else I need to know?
    Please ensure that you have read through and accept the Terms and Conditions before submitting your application to avoid any misinformation.
